Shouldn't every blog have an "about me" page?
This is me ~ well, this is me about 5 years ago taken during our trip to the Grand Canyon ~ that was a good time. What about me? Well, I'm a mom to Dan ~ a wife to John ~ a daughter to my mom and daughter-in-law to John's mom & dad ~ I used to be a sister but we've disowned each other . . . . sad but I'm still a sister-in-law to John's brother, Rob ~ I am still an aunt to my newly married niece, Katie ~ oh and I'm a dog mom to my little Jackson Huckleberry!
But what about me? I guess that's harder to say ~ I'm a homebody ~ partly because of my social phobia and partly because I love to be home. I like to knit but can never seem to finish projects I start. I love to read ~ love my Kindle!! Starting last summer I discovered I love camping in my motel in the mountains (aka camper). I like doing decorating crafts ~ centerpieces, floral stuff, etc ~ however I never seem to glue anything so I can change it up whenever I feel like it. I'm a Weight Watcher . . . . again ~ but this time I'm actually making progress ~ yay!
This is my husband, John ~ the love of my life ~ seriously!! I always said it took God 30-something years to find me the right guy but he was so worth the wait. We've been married almost 15 years and I love & adore him more every year, everyday, every moment we are together!! Yea, I know ~ mushy, mushy! Please note that this picture was also taken during our Grand Canyon trip . . . . guess we need some new pictures.
This is my son, Dan ~ my first love! He came into my life almost 29 (yikes!) years ago and saved me . . . . from me ~ God blessed me with this wonderful, wonderful baby, now a man, and I thank Him everyday. But sadly he, for reasons we honestly don't know, has chosen to live his life (for now?) without me & John being a part of it. I used to get glimpses thru Facebook but he's closed my little window. I know one day we will reunite. Until then I just hope he knows how much I love him!
And this is my little Jackson Huckleberry ~ he is a Maltese and now 9 years old ~ such a cute and funny little puppy! I keep telling John he needs a little brother or sister but John says no ~ meanie! LOL!
